Your equally knee jerk partisan reaction to this issue is indicative of the much larger problem facing the nation the rule by two equally corrupt parties motivated by greed and self interest.

Why is it necessary to start the process 18 months before election? Why not set limits of time AND funds spent on campaigining to rein in this circus run amock (at all levels of government). It is time for changes – small and large – because this is not the same country of two hundred plus years ago.
